In addition to my time as a freelance writer, I have over fifteen years of experience in the corporate arena specializing in investor relations and corporate communications. I most recently served as the Director, Investor Relations and Shareholder Services at Tech Data Corporation, a Fortune 200 company that distributes leading-edge IT products all over the world. My writing portfolio includes annual reports, brochures, news releases, newsletters, management biographies, conference call and presentation scripts, management and investor presentations, employee communications, website copy and direct marketing pieces. Working closely with executive management and company Boards over the years, I developed a strong knowledge in business and strategy -- which combined with my financial background -- allows me to tackle just about any topic. I have a solid track record as a writer and have worked with leadership teams on internal communications, major contract announcements, product releases, partnerships, acquisitions, CEO transitions and financial agreements. I hold a B.A. in Business Administration from Flagler College and an MBA in Finance from the University of South Florida. I was a member of the National Investor Relations Institute for ten years and served as the Communications Chair for the Central Florida Chapter during 2002-2004.
